Do I need a visa for Morocco?
It depends on your passport. On 15 October 2026 we ran Morocco's official online eligibility check for all 197 nationalities it lists. Here is what it said for an ordinary passport holder on a tourist trip.

How we checked
For each nationality we entered an ordinary passport, residence in the same country, a tourist trip, no event and no other visa. For nationalities that were asked for an embassy visa, we checked again with UK residence and with a Schengen visa. Holders of refugee or stateless travel documents and other non-ordinary passports cannot use the eVisa and should contact a Moroccan embassy or consulate.
No visa or AEVM needed (77)
For these passports the check said that neither a visa nor a travel authorisation is needed. It does not state a maximum length of stay, so we do not publish one.

Embassy visa, unless you qualify through residence or a visa (101)
With the passport alone, the check asked for a visa from a Moroccan embassy or consulate. When we entered residence in the United Kingdom, or a Schengen visa, it offered the eVisa instead. That is the Category B (residence) and Category C (visa held) route.
