What the official check said
Results from Morocco's official online eligibility check on 15 October 2026, for an ordinary passport and a tourist trip:
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| Filipino passport, living in Philippines, no other visa | No visa or AEVM needed |
This is one of the most common questions from Filipino travellers, and the answer is reassuring: for an ordinary Philippine passport and a tourist trip, Morocco’s official eligibility check returned “you will not need a visa or a Morocco Electronic Travel Authorization”.
That means there is nothing to apply for in advance, and no eVisa fee to pay. Rules can change, so check again close to your travel date. If you are travelling with family members of other nationalities, look up each passport separately on our Do I need a visa for Morocco? page.
Questions from Filipino citizens
Do Filipinos need a visa for Morocco?
No. On 15 October 2026 Morocco's official eligibility check told Philippine ordinary-passport holders on a tourist trip that they need neither a visa nor an electronic travel authorisation (AEVM).
Do Filipinos need the Morocco eVisa?
No. The eVisa is only for travellers who would otherwise need a visa. A Philippine ordinary passport was not asked for a visa or an AEVM.
Does this apply to non-ordinary Philippine passports?
Our check covered ordinary passports only. If you travel on a diplomatic, official or other passport type, confirm your requirements with a Moroccan embassy or consulate.
How long can Filipinos stay in Morocco without a visa?
The eligibility check does not state a maximum length of stay, so we do not publish one. Confirm the permitted stay with a Moroccan embassy or consulate before travelling.
