Short answer

With a Pakistani passport alone you need a visa from a Moroccan embassy or consulate. You can use the eVisa instead if you live in a qualifying country, such as the UK, an EU country or the US, or hold a qualifying multiple-entry visa, such as a Schengen, US or UK visa.

What the official check said

Results from Morocco's official online eligibility check on 15 October 2026, for an ordinary passport and a tourist trip:

Situation Result
Pakistani passport, living in Pakistan, no other visa Embassy or consulate visa
Pakistani passport, living in the United Kingdom eVisa
Pakistani passport, holding a Schengen visa eVisa

Pakistan is not in Category A, so a Pakistani passport on its own does not give access to the eVisa. If you live in a listed country such as the UAE, the UK or an EU country, or already hold a qualifying Schengen, UK or US visa, you can use the online eVisa instead of an embassy application.

The three situations we checked on 15 October 2026 are shown above. For the residence route, keep in mind that the residence document must be the card or permit itself, valid for at least 180 days, and that you upload both sides. For the visa route, the visa must allow multiple entries. Both routes are explained in our guide to the eVisa with a Schengen, UK or US visa or residence permit.

Option 1: eVisa as a resident of a qualifying country

You can apply for the eVisa if you live in one of these countries (Category B):

European Union member states, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates.

  • Ordinary passport valid for at least 90 days from the date of the application.
  • Residence card or residence permit valid for at least 180 days on the date of the application.

Option 2: eVisa with a visa you already hold

You can also apply if you hold a multiple-entry visa from one of these (Category C):

Schengen area, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway, New Zealand.

  • Ordinary passport valid for at least 90 days on the date of the application.
  • Multiple-entry, non-electronic visa valid for at least 90 days from the date of the eVisa application.

Option 3: visa from a Moroccan embassy or consulate

If neither route applies, apply for a visa at the Moroccan embassy or consulate that covers your place of residence.
