Yes. The eVisa is an authorisation for one person. Children under 18 travelling on an eVisa may enter Morocco only with a parent or legal representative. Families can group their applications into a single file so they are processed together.
Do I need a visa for Morocco?
It depends on your passport. On 15 October 2026 Morocco's official eligibility check said that 77 of the 197 nationalities it lists need neither a visa nor an AEVM, 10 can use the eVisa with their passport alone and 4 need an AEVM. The other 106 need an embassy visa, although 101 of them can use the eVisa instead if they live in a qualifying country or hold a qualifying visa. Our 'Do I need a visa for Morocco?' page lists every nationality.
Does an eVisa guarantee entry to Morocco?
No. Border authorities may refuse entry to anyone who does not meet the conditions or cannot show the required evidence. Officers may ask for a return ticket, proof of funds and medical and repatriation insurance, as well as the residence card or visa you used to apply.
How much does the Morocco eVisa cost?
The Moroccan government fee is 770 MAD for a standard eVisa and 1,100 MAD for an express eVisa. Both give a single entry and a stay of up to 30 days; the express option is processed faster.
How long can I stay in Morocco with an eVisa?
Up to 30 days. The eVisa allows a single entry, and the eVisa itself can be valid for up to 180 days from the date it is issued, so you can choose when to travel within that period.
How long does the Morocco eVisa take to process?
A standard application is processed within 3 business days and an express application within 1 business day, counted in Moroccan working days. These deadlines do not apply to incomplete applications or applications containing false information.
What is the difference between the eVisa and the AEVM?
The eVisa is a visa for travellers who would otherwise need one and who meet Category A, B or C. The AEVM is a travel authorisation for certain visa-exempt nationalities. On 15 October 2026 Morocco's official eligibility check directed ordinary-passport holders of Ecuador, Ghana, Guinea and the Republic of the Congo to request an AEVM. Both are requested online.

Which passports can be used for the eVisa?
Only ordinary passports, valid for at least 90 days from the date of the application. Holders of diplomatic, service or special passports, refugee or stateless travel documents and other travel documents should apply at the Moroccan embassy or consulate that covers their place of residence.

Can I use the eVisa for any type of trip?
No. The eVisa is issued for tourism or business trips only, and it cannot be used to apply for residency in Morocco. Business travellers must attach a document showing the purpose of the trip, such as an invitation from a Moroccan company or event organiser.
