Short answer
If you live in the United Arab Emirates with a residence permit valid for at least 180 days, and your nationality needs a visa for Morocco, you can apply for the eVisa as a resident (Category B).
What the official check said
Results from Morocco's official online eligibility check on 16 October 2026, for an ordinary passport and a tourist trip:
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| Egyptian passport, living in the United Arab Emirates | eVisa |
| Indian passport, living in the United Arab Emirates | eVisa |
| Nigerian passport, living in the United Arab Emirates | eVisa |
| Pakistani passport, living in the United Arab Emirates | eVisa |
The United Arab Emirates is one of the countries of residence listed in Category B of the Morocco eVisa rules. That matters for the many expatriates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates whose own passport would normally need an embassy visa for Morocco.
If your nationality needs a visa for Morocco and you live in the UAE with a residence permit that is still valid for at least 180 days on the day you apply, you can request the eVisa online as a UAE resident. If your nationality is in Category A (for example India) you can apply with your passport alone, and if your passport is visa-exempt for Morocco you do not need the eVisa at all. Can Pakistani, Nigerian or Egyptian citizens living in the UAE get the Morocco eVisa?
Yes. On 16 October 2026 Morocco's official eligibility check offered the eVisa to Pakistani, Nigerian and Egyptian ordinary-passport holders living in the UAE, even though the same passports need an embassy visa when the holder lives at home.
