Standard and express eVisa compared
| Feature | Standard eVisa | Express eVisa |
|---|---|---|
| Government fee | 770 MAD | 1,100 MAD |
| Processing time | 3 business days | 1 business day |
| Entries | Single | Single |
| Maximum stay | 30 days | 30 days |

The only difference is speed and price: both give the same single entry, the same 30-day stay and the same validity of up to 180 days. The fees are set by the Moroccan authorities in Moroccan dirhams (MAD).
Morocco eVisa price: the government fee
The amounts above are the Moroccan government fees for the eVisa itself, as published by the Moroccan authorities. This page covers the eVisa only. If you have to apply for a visa at a Moroccan embassy or consulate instead, ask that consulate for its fee.
| Fee | Standard | Express |
|---|---|---|
| Government eVisa fee | 770 MAD | 1,100 MAD |
How processing time is counted
- Standard applications are processed within 3 business days and express applications within 1 business day. The rules express the same deadlines as 72 hours and 24 hours, counted in working days in Morocco.
- Weekends and Moroccan public holidays are not working days, so allow extra time around them.
- Processing deadlines do not apply to incomplete applications or applications containing false information.
Avoid delays
An application marked “waiting to be completed” has to be corrected before processing continues. Check that names, dates and document numbers match your passport exactly and that every upload is a clear JPG, JPEG or PDF of no more than 1 MB. See eVisa requirements and our guide to common application mistakes.
Refunds
Once an eVisa application has been submitted and the government fee paid, the application cannot be cancelled and the government fee cannot be refunded. This applies even if your plans change, so check your eligibility and every detail before you pay.
Travel authorisation (AEVM)
The AEVM is a different document from the eVisa. The official AEVM information we reviewed does not state a fee or a processing time. See Morocco eTA (AEVM).
